Hey loves!
It's a new chapter in our lives. Another season is yet to embrace. The bible says in Psalm 23:6, "So why should I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life." This year, my husband and I wanted to name our year 2022 the, "year of change and breakthrough".
He went home last December of 2021. I am an OFW wife. A typical Filipina wife and mom. Every year, there's a privilege for him to come home and spent a whole month or so with his family. This year, we welcomed the new year with a bang! Literally and reality speaking.
We spent our days not going on trips or eating out or the joy ride like what we used to do with our daughter. But we spent most of his vacation packing, moving, and packing, and moving. We were exhausted and happy at the same time. We have this joy in our hearts that comes from the Lord. Our world may crumble and fall but when you put your trust and hope in the Lord there is peace.
We said our goodbyes again and our 'till we meet again. The time has come for him to go back to a foreign country that he calls his other home for a decade now. As seasons change, we look forward to spending more time with him again. Maybe, just maybe, we can go on trips and enjoy each moment with him.
